We have been working on performance improvements in the Hivelocity store as well as enhancing the user experience in myV. Read this changelog to see what we've been up to!

System fixes and enhancements released between 2/27 and 3/12

  • API related enhancements

    • Optimized the GET /api/v1/options/{PRODUCT_ID}/product endpoint with a newer version that is approximately five times faster.
    • Enhanced the endpoint: /api/v2/bare-metal-devices/ to not require an order when using the PUT method.
    • Optimized the store with a new endpoint to allow the customization page to load approximately 5 times faster.
    • Optimized the store with a new endpoint to allow the customization page to load approximately 5 times faster.

  • MyV enhancements

    • In myV, created an "Event log" page in the Network section to be able to provide the last 3 hours of network automation tasks that were executed.
    • Enhanced myV to allow contacts of controlled clients to login to myV.
    • In myV, enhanced account switching to be more effective by clearing query caching on logout and user switching.
    • Updated the "Server Reload" page in myV to consider Network Automation based on the configuration of the device in question.

  • Provisioning enhancements

    • Enhanced the reload process to proceed without requiring the Order and Pack name metadata.
    • Enhanced the provisioning process to better handle legacy devices that do not have a product ID on the order so that they can complete provisioning without causing an exception.
