Over the past 2 weeks, we have been making some enhancements to myV, Store and Storefront as well as to our new menu format.

System fixes and enhancements released between 11/4 and 11/17

  • General Website related enhancements

    • On the general website, updated the new menu format with:
      • Updated Footer color
      • Correctly close mobile menu if resized from small window to larger(resize/change orientation)
      • When clicking on submenu on mobile, don't close parent menu item
      • Reset menu state when closing drawer
      • Show scrollbar correctly on mobile (at the edge)
      • Correctly wrap submenu items on small devices <400px
      • Don't close menu on screen rotation on mobile

  • MyV enhancements

    • Updated myV to show and support power commands for legacy Colohouse VPS devices.
    • Updated the sub-account logic in myV to allow sub-accounts from legacy Colohouse customers to be able to update security questions.
    • On the invoice tables in myV, removed the past due invoice messages.
    • In myV, for services that are already cancelled, removed the "Keep Device" button to prevent confusion about when a cancellation of service can be undone.
    • Above the device table on the Devices page in myV, added a tooltip for when a customer orders a new server with additional IPs to indicate that the additional IPs may not be available because sometimes the server may show in the account before the additional IPs are ready.
    • Updated myV to account for all snapshot types when displaying snapshot information for VPS devices to prevent snapshots from not displaying.

  • Store/Storefront related enhancements

    • Updated Store to hide unavailable app and OS combinations at default, but allow a shopper to unhide the options.
    • In Store and Storefront, updated the new menu format with the following:
      • Moved logic for getting cheapest products to parent component, to avoid flickering when no network connection
      • Updated Footer color
      • Close mobile menu if resized from small window to larger(resize/change orientation)
      • When clicking on submenu on mobile, don't close parent menu item
      • Reset menu state when closing drawer
      • Show scrollbar correctly on mobile (at the edge)
    • Added validation to the iPXE URL that is provided for device configuration in Store.
