Improved

October 2026

In October, we made server reloads more reliable: a failed reload is now retried automatically, and if it still can’t finish, your server goes back to its previous OS so you can try again. On the Storefront, GPU servers are now listed under Dedicated Server. In myVelocity, new servers show up in your device list as soon as you order and the provisioning tracker has been enhanced to be more accurate.

System fixes and enhancements released in October, 2026

  • General website related enhancements

    • Implemented new custom iPXE documentation, including a working example script using netboot.xyz.

  • MyV enhancements

    • After an initial order is placed, the new server now shows up in the device list right away with a provisioning message.

    • The provisioning tracker timeline now better matches custom iPXE installs.

    • The Managed Services window has been updated with which operating systems are supported.

  • Store and Storefront related enhancements

    • GPU servers are now listed under Dedicated Servers on the Storefront.

    • Refreshed location map images on the server configuration page.

  • Provisioning enhancements

    • If a reload fails, it is now retried automatically before the team needs to step in.

    • If a reload can't finish after retrying, the server is handed back on its previous OS with power controls working, so the reload can be attempted again instead of being left as a failed server.

    • Updated Debian and Proxmox installs on servers with certain network cards.

    • Fixed an issue where VPS servers with the Coolify app could fail to provision.
