We've been busy with enhancements to better support our new VPS product over the past 2 weeks. Here are the enhancements that would be the most interacted with.

System fixes and enhancements released between 10/9 and 10/22

• API related enhancements

  • Updated the billing endpoint to accept only a 4 digit cvv for american express cards and reject the card if a 3 digit cvv is used.
  • Updated the V2 cart/item endpoint to add a GET for a single item request.
  • Updated the rate limit for the GET /api/v2/bare-metal-device endpoint to prevent unnecessary 5xx codes.

• MyV enhancements

  • In myV, added the ability to enter a coupon code to add credits to the account for use in payment for services.
  • Updated the verification process to ensure that when a new order is placed, if the account has already been verified, the account holder should not be asked for verification even if the previous orders on the account are not in verified status.
  • In the store, added the ability for customers to use account credits when checking out.
  • Updated the footer in storefront to add a link to VPS.
  • "In myV, updated the ""Add Server"" menu so that:
    • ""Instant Bare Metal"" loads the storefront with results for dedicated servers.
    • ""GPU Servers"" loads the storefront with results for GPU servers.
    • ""Cloud VPS"" loads the storefront with results for VPS offerings."
  • In myV, updated the "Update VPS" modal to support the new AMD and Intel environment.
  • In myV, updated the design of the Credit page.
  • Updated wording in the billing section of myV for coupons to be more specific and indicate that the entered coupon should be applied to a service.
  • Updated the styling in the Payment Methods page in myV to have a better user experience.
  • Updated the Verify with Credit Card modal to disable "Verify with Credit Card" if a credit card was not used for the purchase of the order.
